About Jennifer

Thank you for finding me!

I'm Jennifer and I started JC Fitness and Nutrition to help people like you learn how to feel better.

​

I started my fitness journey 4 years ago when a friend signed me up for a 5k without asking me! I didn't know the first thing about running. Much less how to train for running. I joined a local program and in 10 weeks I was running a 5k! I was proud of myself for accomplishing something I didn't know I was capable of. I continued to work with this program for another year and became a mentor to newbies just like myself. And I fell in love! So much so, I decided to turn it into my career.

3 years ago, I was hired by a local gym as a personal trainer. I spent the time needed studying for my certification through the leading personal trainer agency, National Academy for Sports Medicine (NASM) and have continued my education with them and other certifying agencies in the years since. I'm a certified TRX Suspension Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, and a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach. I'm constantly learning and striving to be better and do better. I have yet to meet a challenge I'm not down to tackle.
